Princess Grace Photographic Exhibition

Castletown House is hosting an exhibition of photographs of Princess Grace 1955-69. Details here. Princess Grace was a regular visitor to Maynooth College during her stays at nearby Carton House, and was a particular fan of the beautiful apse chapel devoted to the Virgin Mary. For exclusive access drop into the college and take a tour with one of our experienced guides!

Tour season details

Our summer tours season in 2017 runs from 29 May to 3 September. We are pleased to announce that for the first time we will offer six tours per day, with the first at 11:00 and the last at 17:30.

We look forward to welcoming our visitors this summer.

College Chapel booklet

Our new booklet, College Chapel, Maynooth is published in March 2017.

It is a beautifully produced 40-page publication featuring specially commissioned photographs that highlight the College Chapel’s visual, artistic and architectural riches.

College Chapel, Maynooth is a fund of information on the history of the Chapel’s design and construction.

If you agree with Michael Portillo’s claim on Great British Railway Journeys that you cannot come to Ireland and not visit Maynooth College’s Chapel, you will want to take home this lovely memento of an unforgettable place.

College Chapel, Maynooth is available at reception at Maynooth Campus Conference & Accommodation and in good bookshops.

You may also purchase College Chapel, Maynooth in our online shop.
